How do you spell rejection?

I got no new that is really ok to announce...J is getting offered alot of money for a riskier job, we are going to seattle-way for the 4th holiday, we gots a garage sale comin up...anyone need a garage?

I had an interview this week that was utterly forgettable. So now I deluge myself with things to make myself feel better "Maybe the lady was having a hard time in her life and that was why she was such a sour puss," "Maybe she had to give up a golf match so she could interview me, and that is why I was feeling like the red headed stepchild," "I don't really want to work at that dump anyway," and finally "My life is good enough that it doesn't really matter if I get that stupid job, dumb jerks."

I laugh about these types of thoughts because they are so typical when a person thinks they have been rejected they want to know why. And it is easy to magnitate to (yes I did just make up that word, because I rock)the things we, ok I feel like I am not good at or areas where I am still we can say "developing".

I only think about it when I reflect on what is going on.

In other news, I spent a load at Target ostensibly on safety gear and camping stuff...and tommorrow I am goinna pick some blueberries. The interviewer looked like Ellen DeGeneres.

peace out.

this post cross posted with blog rodeo, let's drive traffic there and see if we can't light a fire!

You're right though. The human nature carves for explanations. And the worst is when we start thinking up excuses for those who "reject" us.

There could be so many reasons, many of them having nothing to do with you, that it isn't very useful to beat yourself up about an interview.
